Mauritanie : les recettes douanières en 2021 ont atteint 247 milliards MRO
Saharamedias - Le ministre mauritanien des finances Mohamed Lemine O. Dhehbi a déclaré mercredi que les recettes douanières pour l’année écoulée ont atteint 247 milliards d’anciennes ouguiyas.
Le ministre qui s’exprimait à l’occasion de la journée nationale de la douane a précisé que ces mêmes recettes douanières sont passées de 185 milliards MRO en 2019 à 247 milliards MRO.
Ould Dhehbi a encore dit que malgré la pandémie du coronavirus, les recettes douanières ont augmenté au cours des deux dernières années de 25%.
Il a ajouté que la numérisation des procédures douanières a contribué à la transparence et à la fluidité des échanges, avant d’ajouter que la douane avait introduit tôt les nouvelles technologies dans ses procédures de gestion au début des années 80 et qu’elle est considérée aujourd’hui un modèle dans la sous-région.
Le ministre a enfin dit que « la modernisation de la douane a contribué à la lutte contre la contrebande et la fraude commerciale, facilité le contrôle des infractions douanières, grâce à la gestion automatisée des exonérations douanières et au développement de la technologie d’analyse et de gestion des risques ».
